In today’s video, I give you a glimpse of how some of the devout pioneers in the Biblical Heartland express their gratitude to God for the miraculous restoration, 76 years ago, of the People of Israel in the Land of Israel.
In this week’s video, I introduce you to Telem and Adora, two small but resilient communities located directly northwest of the ancient Biblical city of Hebron. The 1,000 brave pioneers of Telem and Adora live courageously amidst a sea of hundreds of thousands of hostile Arabs.
Usually, we post a video about life in a particular community in Judea and Samaria, but we cannot do so this time. Unfortunately, over the last couple of months, our lives have been in danger on a consistent basis as we have sustained countless terror attacks all over the Biblical Heartland.
Today, I want to share with you my recent visit to Rechan, a lovely community in Northern Samaria. This community is located in the center of Biblical and historical Israel and today it is a lovely oasis of Jewish life.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mevo Dotan in Northern Samaria and actually felt like I was witnessing a miracle. This is a community that was founded back in the 80’s with great views and good people. But then came the Second Intifada and life came crashing down.
I am excited to share my recent tour of the community of Nofim. Even though it is located right across the valley from our office in Karnei Shomron, I had never actually visited it before. In Hebrew, Nofim means views and I was curious to find out if reality matched the hype. And let me tell you, it absolutely did!
Just before Israel celebrated its 75th Independence Day, I had the pleasure of visiting the community of Kiryat Netafim in Samaria. As we drove through the neighborhoods, I encountered a heartwarming display of the residents’ pride and love for their homeland, as every balcony was adorned with Israeli flags and blue and white garlands.
This month, I visited the community of Ofra, one of the original Jewish communities in Samaria. What began as a workers camp grew into the first modern Jewish community north of Jerusalem.
The Heart of Benjamin program, in Ofra, caters to families residing in the Benjamin region, providing resources for severely disabled children and their families, and helping them navigate a myriad of educational and social challenges. During the week before Passover the program operates camps for the severely disabled children, providing structure, and a memorable camp experience.
We celebrated Purim last week and I filmed this on that day, in my own community of Zufim, enabling you to share my wonderful holiday with me. If you could not celebrate Purim in a Jewish community, then this is certainly the next best thing. Please join me as we celebrate Purim in Zufim.
