December 2021
Dear Friend ,
It is December 2021 already! More than anything else, the past 20 months have reinforced the truth of God’s word: It is not good for man to be alone, and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Genesis 2, Ecclesiastes 4) God created human beings to strengthen each other, to stand together, to help one another. Where one person has a weakness, another has a strength, and they can accomplish so much more together. The past 20 months have brought incredible hardship to so many. In some ways, it has been the worst of times, and yet we have come to appreciate that God did not create us to stand alone. We stand stronger when we stand together.
As we come to the final days of 2021 and look forward to the beginning of 2022, we face a changed world. And yet, some things haven’t changed. So many small communities in Judea and Samaria are isolated and alone. The threats against them haven’t changed in years. Given their isolation, their distance from cities with services can make even the simple things in life difficult. Just getting a plumber to fix a leaky faucet may take days or weeks instead of a few hours. Keeping a bored teenager off the street and out of trouble is more challenging. And of course, life is fraught with danger when you are surrounded by hostile neighbors.
Yet, these communities continue to stand firm in the face of opposition. They are committed to fulfilling God’s command to possess the Land of Israel. They are making the desert bloom and rebuilding the ancient cities. You can make a difference in the lives of those living on the front lines in Judea and Samaria. You can help protect them and keep them safe from terrorist attacks. You will help bring vital services to their children, teens, and senior citizens. You can stand with them and tell them that they are not alone. Any donation you make to help isolated communities in Judea and Samaria will strengthen the Jewish homeland. Jews and Christians can stand together with God’s promises to replant Jews in their ancient homeland.
As I look forward to the celebration of Christmas, a day that is so holy to me and to my family and to Christians all over the world, I hope and pray that we will be able to make a difference in the lives of those pioneers who are doing so much to fulfill Biblical prophecy. Let’s do this together! You and I can take an active part in the fulfillment of prophecy in the Heart of Biblical Israel!
Whether you celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas or both, I pray God’s blessings upon your life and family in the coming year. May you and your loved ones have a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Shalom,
