Dear Friend of Israel,
Tragedy struck Neve Zuf on July 21, 2017. A terrorist infiltrated the community undetected. He entered the home of Yossi and Tova Salomon as they hosted dozens of family and friends. He drew his knife and started stabbing. Yossi, his son Elad, and his daughter Chaya were murdered.
Attacks like this are heartbreaking, but especially when you know it could have been prevented. With the help of modern technology, communities across Judea and Samaria are protecting their families through high-tech surveillance cameras. These cameras operate 24/7. They are constantly scanning vulnerable access points, looking for intruders who try to enter a community with evil in their heart. But these cameras and the accompanying monitors are expensive to buy and install. You can give a gift today that will help purchase cameras and other lifesaving equipment for communities across Judea and Samaria.
As we enter the holiday season of Hanukkah and Christmas, we are reminded of the messages that these holidays convey to us. On Hanukkah, Jews celebrate the miraculous victory of righteousness over tyranny and on Christmas, Christians celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus. I know that even as the Salomons have experienced this incredible loss, they will pick up the pieces – they will continue living. Like all Israelis I know, they will respond to hate with love, face death with life, and they will fight terror the only way they know how, by continuing to live in the Land of Israel.
You can save a family just like the Salomons from experiencing the unspeakable horror and grief of a terror attack. Would you please send a special gift to provide surveillance cameras and lifesaving emergency equipment for the people of Judea and Samaria?
No family should have to face a murderous terrorist entering their community or home. Yet, there are so many communities who need your help to purchase this vital equipment to be able to prevent these terrorist attacks.
Did you know that for every piece of life-saving equipment we have been able to purchase for a community, there are ten pieces of equipment we cannot afford? As a result, there are dozens of communities which are drastically under-equipped and need your help right now! That’s why your gift is so important.
Will you consider sending a gift this year so more communities will have the equipment they need to protect and save lives in Israel?
Too many families have experienced the loss of a loved one due to a terror attack. They dream of a time when they will be able to live peaceably with their Arab neighbors. But until that day comes, your gift can help keep them safe as they continue to fulfill God’s commandment to possess the land.
Will you give safety and security to families living in the heartland of Biblical Israel this holiday season?
A gift of $30 will provide flashlights, search lights or emergency lighting for crews working in a crisis situation.
A gift of $60 will provide walkie-talkies or other communications equipment.
A gift of $100 will provide lifesaving First Aid equipment for emergency responders.
A gift of $500 will provide protective vests for first responders.
A gift of 1,000 will provide surveillance cameras or perimeter alert systems.
A gift of any amount will help save a life!
Your gift will do all that and so much more – it will let the people of Judea and Samaria know that they are not alone. It will tell the world that there are Christians all over the globe who believe that Israel has a right to exist and that God promised ALL the land of Israel as an everlasting inheritance to the Jewish people. You will be sending a message of love and hope during this holiday season.
I wish you a Happy Hanukkah and a joyous Christmas filled with the love of family and friends! Thank you for your compassion and for bringing peace, joy, love and most of all safety to the courageous families who are living in Judea and Samaria.
With gratitude,
Kimberly Troup
