Virtual Visit to Argaman & Gilgal

Sondra and Danny are excited to share with you the newest episode of CFOIC Heartland’s Virtual Tours. In this week’s episode, you will return to the Jordan Valley, where Sondra and Danny will bring you to a site, known as the “Footprint,” an archaeological discovery  that changed our understanding of what the word  “Gilgal” really means.  We then journey to nearby Argaman, a quiet and beautiful Jordan Valley community. You don’t want to miss it!

On our last visit to the Jordan Valley, we visited the site of the first entry of the Children of Israel into the Land of Israel.  Today, we explore the meaning of the word Gilgal – the name given to the Biblical encampment of the nation upon entry into the land and throughout the years of conquest.  Reviewing history is always exciting especially when it is Biblical history.  But what is really special is the connection between the Bible and what is happening in Israel today — the miracle of the modern entry of the people of Israel into the land — the restoration of Israel!

The people of the Jordan Valley have restored this desolate area and made it bloom again.  But they are also restoring people, healing troubled souls and helping them grow again.  You can help restore at-risk teen-agers in the Jordan Valley by getting them the therapy they so desperately need to become contributing members of society.

The form is not published.

May God bless you richly!
