A Visit With Shmuel: A Security Update from Judea & Samaria

This month, I decided to skip a community visit and, instead, share with you a personal insight into the deteriorating security situation in Judea and Samaria. I actually filmed this last week, during the holiday of Succot. It was a great week but our travels throughout the area to visit friends and participate in holiday festivals were marred by a constant state of alert – hoping and praying that we would not be the next victims of this most recent wave of terrorism. Unfortunately, since filming this, an additional soldier was killed, as he patrolled an area just a few hundred meters from where thousands were hiking in Samaria.

In recent years, you, our wonderful CFOIC Heartland friends and supporters, have been so generous in your donations to support security needs throughout Judea and Samaria. Thanks to you, we have truly made a difference in the ability of the communities to protect their residents. But there are still communities that are desperate for security cameras, fire-fighting equipment and so much more. Click here to learn more about what you can do to save lives in Israel. Please give generously to this vital need.

God Bless,

Shmuel

  1. I wanted to pay by Pal Pal but unfortunately the option became available after inserting my credit card details. I am not comfortable with credit card as we have had cyber attacks in Australia. Can you help make the option appear as a possible method of payment up front.

  2. This is chilling! Not so much ‘enjoyed’ the film as needing to see it and get a line on exactly what is happening. I hear of various accounts on various Israeli media outlets of IDF activity in rooting out terrorists with varying degrees of success, or otherwise. It seems that the reality is that you do not have a very useful government in power, who appear to have less and less commitment to the West Bank Israeli communities: in other words: very limited appreciation of the ‘Land’ being G-d’s land. I hope and pray that the elections up coming will generate a change in this. I admire your tenacity in living where you do.
