What is the connection between the Tabernacle, Israel and olive oil? At first glance Parashat Tetzaveh seems like a continuation of last week’s portion, full of the same detailed instructions. But further reading reveals something else: last week’s details described the infrastructure for the Tabernacle, but Tetzaveh gives the details needed for its heart and soul.
