Shabbat Shalom
This week Shmuel explores a new book of the Torah: Shemot, meaning “Names”. Or as it is called in English, Exodus. Why is this book called Shemot? This book is called “Names” for the names of the Children of Israel who were never forgotten, even in Exile.
The names of the Children of Israel were as valuable as the names of the stars that symbolized God’s promise to Abraham. No matter how far one strays, God does not forget the name of His child.
