How are people coping in Israel?

Join me now, as I enter Bekaot…

This month, I visited the community of Bekaot, a small agricultural moshav in the Jordan Valley, actually on the Samaria foothills just above the Jordan Valley. What a beautiful place! I was especially excited about the dates – such plump and juicy dates! I couldn’t resist – I gave thanks to God and took a bite. If you are ever interested in joining me for a visit to Bekaot, we can enjoy dates together!

I showed you the dilapidated building that the people of Bekaot want to turn into a youth center. For years, Bekaot did not have many young children. Today, as the community is growing again, their teenagers need a place to call their own, a place where they can build friendships with one another and deepen their connection to their community. The teens of Bekaot are the promise of its future. Click here to support the children of Bekaot.
