In 2014, three teenage boys disappeared from a bus stop in Gush Etzion. For weeks, the entire country searched for clues as to their whereabouts before their bodies were found. They had been kidnapped and murdered by terrorists, who then dumped their bodies in a remote area.  The entire country mourned this terrible loss. Shortly thereafter, volunteers established the Oz V’Gaon nature reserve in their memory, and it has become a place for wholesome recreation and study ever since.

The teens of Gush Etzion have faced tragedy and fear, a product of the ongoing terrorism war in Israel and particularly in Judea and Samaria. Most of these teens develop coping mechanisms and grow and develop healthily. But there are some who feel lost, who drift, drop out of school, experiment with drugs or alcohol. They need help. They need prompt and effective intervention to ensure that they will get back on track and become productive, contributing adults. With your support, these teens can get the help they so desperately need!
