How are people coping in Israel?

Dear Friends,

As the holiday of Passover approaches our hearts and thoughts turn to our neighbors in Samaria. Many families are struggling to make ends meet as the war has interrupted employment and salaries and taken many fathers away from their families for long periods of time. Some families are facing the additional challenges of injuries, bereavement and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Last year Shmuel interviewed Anat Safrir who heads the Samaria Family Assistance program. Her concerns for the families in the region are still relevant and become more urgent as the holiday of Passover draws near. How will these families be able to celebrate the festival of freedom when they cannot afford basic groceries?

You can make a difference for a struggling family in Samaria! Your donation today will go directly to a food voucher for a family in need. With your help families in Samaria can celebrate Passover with joy!

Please donate generously today to help purchase food vouchers for a family this holiday season.

Blessings,

Shmuel Junger
CFOIC Director, Israel Office
