Returning to Israel after a transformative week in Washington, D.C., I feel a deep sense of gratitude and excitement. The experience of participating in what could be one of the most pivotal moments for Judea and Samaria left an indelible mark on me. In this article, I want to share with you, my friends, the highlights of this extraordinary journey.
One of the first things I noticed was the renewed energy and optimism in the streets of Washington, D.C. After years of challenges, it was heartening to witness the vibrant spirit of the American people.
Despite the winter coldand falling snow, thestreets were filled withwarmth and enthusiasmas people gathered tocelebrate theinauguration. There was a palpable sense of hope—a belief that meaningful change is on the horizon
Representing the Judea and Samaria Regional Council, I had the honor of participating in the inaugural caucus dedicated to our biblical heartland. This historic event, led by Congresswoman Rep. Claudia Tenney and other prominentmembers of Congress,exceeded allexpectations.
For years, the narrativesurrounding Judea andSamaria painted us asan obstacle to peace.The pressure on ourcommunities wasimmense, withaccusations of violenceand restrictions thatstifled growth. But now, with this caucus,there is a shift—arecognition of our vitalrole in the region.
Congressman Weber’s heartfelt words about his visits to our land resonated deeply. He spoke about the bond he felt with the biblical heartland and emphasized the historical lesson that relinquishing Jewish land has never brought blessing, only harm. This message, shared by many in attendance, marked a turning point in how our story is being understood and supported in Washington.
One of the most crucial goals of our visit was to reignite bipartisan support for Israel. Over the years, the connection between America and Israel has faced challenges, becoming increasingly polarized.
However, through countless meetings and heartfelt conversations, there is a renewed sense of possibility.
Throughout the week, I felt humbled to represent our friends around the world who stand with Judea and Samaria. Their unwavering support inspires us to continue building and thriving in our homeland. The blessings and opportunities that lie ahead are immense, and we are committed to seizing this moment.
This journey to Washington, D.C., was not just about meetings and celebrations—it was about witnessing the start of a new chapter. A chapter filled with hope, unity, and a deeper connection between the people of Israel and the United States.
As we move forward, let us continue to pray for change, for peace, and for the strengthening of the bond between our nations. Together, we can ensure that the heartland of Judea and Samaria remains a source of blessing for generations to come.
