In this year of unprecedented hardship, the People of Israel were inundated by a tidal wave of hatred and cruelty that upended our lives and shook us to our core. Here in Judea and Samaria, we faced a more challenging and threatening reality, as our fathers and sons were suddenly called up to fight for the nation’s very existence.

You, our Christian friends, stood beside us as beacons of hope, and your unwavering support has been a source of immense comfort and strength. As the Jewish year drew to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on just a few of the remarkable achievements we accomplished together, thanks to your generosity and compassion.

On the civilian front, you extended a lifeline to our most vulnerable citizens. Your assistance in building a play center in Sussya, a community that has sacrificed so much in the defense of our homeland, provided a much-needed haven for children and a sense of normalcy amidst the turmoil.

Additionally, your support for the senor center in Beit Yatir ensured that our elderly population received the care and attention they deserve, offering them a measure of peace and security in their golden years.

Beyond the humanitarian sphere, you played a critical role in safeguarding our communities. By providing essential equipment such as radios, communication devices, cameras and drones, you enhanced our ability to detect and thwart potential threats, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. Your presence and understanding of the unique challenges we face in this region have been invaluable, a testament to your genuine empathy and solidarity in the face of adversity. Your unwavering support has been a source of inspiration and hope. Together, we have shown the central role that God and the Bible play in our lives as we work in unison to strengthen the Biblical Heartland.

We pray with the People of Israel for a better year and for God to speedily grant all of us a total victory. The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace (Ps. 29:11).
