How are people coping in Israel?

I was supposed to go to Einav on Tu B’Shvat and film their tree-planting ceremony, sponsored by you, our CFOIC Heartland donors and friends.  But then Israel was plunged into lockdown and my visit had to be cancelled.  So when life opened up again, I took the first opportunity to visit Einav and it was a fabulous day indeed.  But extremely windy!  So here it is – my newest episode of A Visit with Shmuel, where I virtually bring you to new communities in Judea and Samaria and share their unique character. There are parts of this film that are more difficult to hear because of the wind but don’t give up – it is worth it!

With God’s help, one day soon, I will be able to take you to Einav in person.  But until then, join me on this virtual tour of Einav

As I mentioned in my vlog, the youth of Einav is what makes this community special.  During the long months of COVID when the teenagers were zooming school only a few hours a day, the teen-agers of Einav would get up at the crack of dawn to turn the natural forest just outside the community into a beautiful park.  After hours of work, they would return home to sit in front of their computer screens and tune in to their teachers.  These kids have worked hard but now they need your help.  You can partner with them and turn their park into the gem of the community – a gathering place for all members of the community, in the heart of nature.
