About Sde Bar

Founded in 1998 on the edges of the Judean Desert, Sde Bar originally functioned as a youth village for homeless and abandoned children, offering them a nurturing and secure environment. CFOIC Heartland has partnered with Sde Bar in this initiative. Over time, Sde Bar evolved into a community of strong-willed pioneers working in various fields, including social work, construction and small businesses. The community features unique initiatives such as a petting zoo, boutique dairy and an equestrian therapy center.
