About Oranit

Founded in 1983 and settled two years later, Oranit is a thriving community located on the western slopes of Samaria and just minutes from Israel’s central region. Home to over 9,000 residents today, Oranit has grown rapidly thanks in large part to its convenient location as well as its strong community services and bonds. Oranit provides families and children a rich quality of life with schools, cultural centers and youth movements. Oranit also offers a welcoming atmosphere, having absorbed over the years Israeli pioneers from different sectors and levels of religiosity. Its strong community structure coupled with continued plans for development give Oranit a strong foundation for many more bright years ahead!
