About Gevaot

Founded in 1984 in the western hills of the Gush Etzion region in Judea, Gevaot is a small community that is uniquely built around “Sadna,” an educational and vocational program for children and adults with special needs. Sadna helps these precious souls to reach their full potential through individualized therapy as well as vocational workshops and training in areas of concentration like ceramics, weaving, carpentry and caring for animals. Many families of special-needs children and adults chose to live in such a community as Gevaot here so that their dear loved ones can grow up in an environment where they are embraced, valued and fully included in community life. More than just a place to live, Gevaot stands as a beacon of hope and love, where everyone, regardless of their abilities and talents, can build a thriving community together in the Biblical Heartland!
