Facing the Apocalypse

Facing The Apocalypse

Jews and Christians base their visions of the End times on Scripture and much of that Scripture comes from the Hebrew Bible, a book sacred to both Christians and Jews. Both Christians and Jews are waiting for Messiah, albeit with different visions of who Messiah is and whether he has been before. But how do Christians and Jews read those Scriptures that form the basis of each Messianic vision? What is Jacob’s Trouble? What does Isaiah have to say about the End times and what are the verses that Jews and Christians draw from as they look towards the future? Sondra Oster Baras, an Orthodox Jew who has devoted her life to reaching out to Christians all over the world to bless Israel, shares the Scriptures and their interpretation that form the basis of the Jewish vision of Redemption. And Kimberly Troup, Christian Zionist director of CFOIC Heartland’s US office, and Tommy Waller, Christian Zionist director of HaYovel, share the various Christian interpretations of the good and bad of the End Time visions. A fascinating discussion you do not want to miss! Watch this video and pass it on to your friends!https://youtu.be/ZehEYbwaFYo
