About Talmon

Founded in 1989 by a small group of pioneering families, Talmon is a vibrant and close-knit community located in the Benjamin region of the Biblical Heartland. Despite Talmon’s relative isolation, over 500 families now live in the community. Talmon’s residents are known for their deep sense of mutual responsibility, kindness and commitment to Jewish continuity. These values are actively passed down to the younger generation, with local teens playing a vital role in volunteer work and community development. Talmon’s pioneers exemplify the strength and perseverance required to build and sustain a thriving community in the heart of Biblical Israel.
