About Sansana

Founded in the late 1990s on the southern edges of Judea, Sansana is home to more than 80 families and 1,000 residents. Rooted in Biblical tradition and named after an ancient city referenced in the Book of Joshua (Joshua 15:31), Sansana is a vibrant community of religious, devout pioneers. Despite security threats from Bedouins in the Negev and hostile Arab villages in Judea, the pioneers of Sansana are committed towards ensuring that their community remains an eternal beacon, in the Biblical Heartland, of unbreakable faith and resolve.
