About Nofim
Established in 1987 by pioneering families, Nofim has blossomed from a community with little to no permanent infrastructure at the time of its founding to a thriving community of more than 700 families. True to the vision of its founders, Nofim has absorbed Israeli pioneers from different backgrounds, all living together in harmony. Overlooking the coastal region to its northwest and the Kana Valley to the southeast, which served as the natural boundary dividing the tribal territories of Ephraim and Menasseh, the community is aptly named “Nofim” (“Views”) for its breathtaking views. Nofim is also located right near Khirbet Shehadeh, the site of a Jewish farming community that existed during the period of the Second Temple, attesting to Israel’s ancient ties to the Biblical Heartland. Nofim offers its families and residents a wide range of services including synagogues, playgrounds and youth movements. Notwithstanding Nofim’s growth over the last several decades, the community envisions expanding and embracing many new families and pioneers!
