About Naaran

Located north of the Dead Sea in the Jordan Valley, Naaran is a vibrant agricultural community of pioneers holding a deep commitment to replenishing the Land of Israel. Originally founded in 1977 and later abandoned due to harsh conditions, it was revived in 1999 by a group of ten idealistic young adults determined to revive the community. Over the next two decades, Naaran has grown into a flourishing community of approximately 80 adults and 60 children. The community hosts youth and IDF veterans for seminars on agriculture and leadership, inspiring many to return to the region and join Naaran in its mission to cultivate the next generation of farmers in Biblical Israel.
