About Moatza Ezorit Shomron

After 2,000 years of exile, the People of Israel finally reunited with the Biblical Heartland when Judea and Samaria were liberated during the Six Day War in 1967. Nevertheless, it took more than several years for ancient cities in Samaria to be restored and for new communities to be established throughout the region. Thanks to the resolve and determination of ideological pioneers, Kedumim and Ofra were founded in 1975, paving the way for the restoration of Shiloh and Beit-El as well as the establishment of many new communities in Samaria. Today, more than 200,000 Jews live in Samaria, 45,000 of whom live under the jurisdiction of the Samaria Regional Council. Generous CFOIC Heartland donors have served as crucial partners of the Samaria Regional Council in a vast array of projects and initiatives such as the Samaria Family Assistance Program, which provides food vouchers for needy families during Passover and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles).
