About Sde Boaz

Founded in 2002 at the height of the Second Intifada, Sde Boaz is a small but resilient community located in the Gush Etzion region and on one of the highest peaks of the Judean hills. Established in large part to help solidify the People of Israel’s presence in Judea, Sde Boaz plays a crucial role in bolstering security throughout the region. Despite facing a deluge of security threats from nearby hostile Arab villages, Sde Boaz continues to grow. The pioneers of Sde Boaz, many of whom are professionals, students and academics all pitch in their respective time and effort to provide maintenance for their local farm. The residents of Sde Boaz all share a strong commitment to cultivating the land and preserving the homeland of their ancestors!
